In almost all your projects, you adopt a user-first mindset and start with the ideal user experience. Even if some details are scoped out due to engineering constraints, we have a plan for future iterations. Mich has demonstrated the ability to develop a design blueprint for a program like InstantBuy previously, thinking about the user experiences for sellers and buyers across multiple touchpoints and managing multiple design projects at the same time.
She is also skilled in research, often doing it independently to uncover the user's pain points. This allowed her to develop a clear vision for recommerce, and the individual touchpoints like Deal Methods, Checkout, etc.
Alvina
UX writer,
Mich has been a valuable team member since she joined us. She had to hit the ground running, diving deep into certified phones and eventually InstantBuy. With IB, there was a lot of stakeholder management necessary and Mich always took them in her stead. She’s able to consider multiple perspectives while standing her ground when it comes to decisions that would affect user experience.
Mich is also very perceptive and she’s really good at thinking on her feet. During PD craft sessions, she always has constructive feedback and can iterate quickly on the spot to come up with possible design solutions to help her peers out.

Specifically on Door-to-door Delivery (D2D) project, with the number of screens and scope of it, Mich handled it with much grace and speed. She's always open to feedback (there was a lot of that for D2D), and is flexible with change (due to engineering scope concerns). This makes her incredibly easy to work with, yet ensuring that we create the most value for our users! I get feedback from my engineers how much they enjoy working with Mich. This makes her highly valuable on the team.
I want to call out Mich's Accountability. In short, I can always count on her to get her tasks done, in order to push projects forward, and enable the engineering team to start sprinting. I've seen this in every project I've worked with her on, from Recommerce to Seller. She sets her own timelines and meets them. Kudos, Mich!
